Top Highlights from the Mongolian Esports Scene: April 22-28, 2024

Here is the news for Mongolian esports week.

MESA (Mongolian Esports Association) has announced the CS2 Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 tournament in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia, with a prize pool of $100,000. European and Asian teams will attend the tournament by invitation, and two Mongolian teams will participate in the MPS (MESA Pro Series) Spring tournament. Participating teams:

· Lynn vision

· Gaimin Gladiators

· Apex esports

· Asian invite #3

· MPS Spring 24 Winner

· MPS Finals 24 Winner

Competition stage

  • May 28-30, play-in matches will be held at LAN Studio

  • June 1-2, Play Off matches will be played at Steppe Arena.

  • One-day tickets for the championship match are 30,000-100,000 MNT ($8-$25)

ESL Pro League S19 tournament
  • The best thirty-two CS2 teams in the world compete in ESL Pro League S19, including The Mongolz from Mongolia. Here is a breif of the The MongolZ matches:

  • The MongolZ won over 2-1 The Falcons, an Arab esports organization, ranked 13th in the world by hltv.org.

  • They won over 2:0 at the match with G2, a German esports organization ranked 5th in the world by HLTV and 4th by ESL. The MongolZ qualified for the Play Off stage.

  • The second-ranked by ESL, Vitality defeated with the score of 2:0.

  • The MongolZ will play their next match in the Round 2 category on May 8.




World Esports Championship 2024

The teams representing Mongolia in the 𝐈𝐄𝐒𝐅 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐡a𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐩 are still being determined. Introducing the results of the Road to IESF tournament, organized by MESA:

Mid-Season Cup (MSC)

A total of 1188 teams have registered for the Mongolian qualifier of the Mid Season Cup (MSC) by Moonton Games . This is the second year that the tournament has been organized by Esports Network. The MSC-Wild Card tournament will run four stages from April 27 to June 8. A total of 8 teams participated in the MSC-Wild Card, and the only winning team will participate in the MSC x EWC tournament. This year, the MSC will be held this summer from June 28 to July 14 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, under the name Esports World Cup (EWC).

WAOW GG

The Mongolian PUBGM WAOW organization has a new WAOW GG ESPORTS team and has recruited foreign athletes as part of the team. They will participate in the "PUBG MOBILE SUPER LEAGUE 2024" tournament, which will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from May 22 to June 16.

WAOW GG is going to organize a PUBGM Super Clash tournament among 64 teams.

PUBGM

Mongolian IHC esports, Falcons, Stalwart esports, 4merical vibes, and Stronger esports teams will compete in the "PUBG MOBILE SUPER LEAGUE 2024" tournament, which will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, from May 22 to June 16. The winning teams will qualify for the "PMGC" and "Esports World Cup" tournaments, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
