Exploring the Epic Showdowns of Blast Premier Spring 2024 at OVO Wembley

The BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 will showcase the extraordinary skills of the world's top Counter-Strike players as they gathered in the iconic city of London. The BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 promises to be a spectacle of esports excellence, bringing together the best of the best in a thrilling display of talent and sportsmanship.

The esteemed event will take place at the renowned OVO Arena Wembley from June 12 to June 16. This competition serves as the apex of competitive gaming, with eight top-tier teams engaging in intense matches that captivated audiences with their precision, strategy, and teamwork. These teams will compete for a significant prize pool of $425,000 and the chance to secure a place in the highly anticipated World Final scheduled for December 2024.

Play Off Stage

The Play off Stage commences today with six teams, all keen to claim the highest prize.

The BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2024 Playoffs are scheduled to be held at the prestigious OVO Arena Wembley. Among the top six teams that have successfully advanced to the playoffs are Vitality, FaZe Clan, Virtus.Pro, Astralis, Team Spirit, and Natus Vincere.

Today BLAST anounced their 2025 tournament schedule, format and BLAST Major in Austin, Texas.

DAY 2. Quarter Final games

The playoffs start on June 14. The top team from each group advances to the semifinals, while the 2nd and 3rd placed teams will compete in the quarterfinals of the event.

  • FaZe Clan 1: 2 Vitality (13:4 on Inferno, 10:14 on Dust, 6:13 on Mirage)

  • Astralis 0:2 Virtus Pro (8:13 on Inferno, 10:13 on Dust 2).

Faze Clan and Astralis, two of the most prominent teams in the competitive CS scene, faced an unexpected setback as they were both eliminated at the Quarter Final stage of the highly anticipated Blast Premier Spring 2024 tournament.

The semifinal match is scheduled to commence tomorrow, featuring a series of games.

  • NAVI vs Virtus Pro

Play-In stage:

DAY 1. Group A

  • FaZe 2-0 SAW (19-16 on Ancient, 13-5 on Inferno)

  • Astralis 0-2 NAVI (13-11 on Nuke, 13-9 on Dust 2)

  • Astralis 2-0 SAW (13-6 on Dust 2, 13-3 on Inferno)

  • FaZe 1-2 NAVI (NAVI 13-5 on Dust 2, FaZe 13-9 on Nuke, NAVI 13-10 on Mirage)

Both Faze and Astralis have secured spots in the Quarterfinals, while NAVI has advanced to the Semifinals.

Group B

  1. Vitality 1-2 Virtus.pro (Vitality 13-5 on Inferno, Virtus.pro 13-11 on Dust 2, Virtus.pro 13-10 on Anubis)

  2. Spirit 2-1 G2 (G2 13-8 on Ancient, Spirit 13-7 on Dust 2, Spirit 13-4 on Anubis)

  3. Vitality 2-1 G2 (Vitality 13-4 on Inferno, G2 13-9 on Anubis, Vitality 13-5 on Mirage)

  4. Virtus.pro 0-2 Spirit (13-4 on Ancient, 13-11 on Dust 2)

Both Virtus Pro and Team Spirit have secured spots in the Quarterfinals, while Vitality has advanced to the Semifinals.

The group stage of the BLAST Premier Spring Final 2024 has come to an end, resulting in the elimination of G2 Esports and the Portuguese team SAW from the tournament.


The initial two days of the event will take place without spectators in the arena, whereas from Friday to Sunday (June 14-16), the matches will be conducted in a fully occupied arena each day.

 

The Spring Final 2024 will be the largest Counter-Strike event in the United Kingdom since the London Major 2018, which was held at the OVO Arena Wembley and saw the Danish organization Astralis crowned champions.


This event will bring together the world’s best esports teams and players in London, marking BLAST’s return to the UK capital after four years. The city’s second-largest indoor venue will host this elite Counter-Strike competition.


BLAST has collaborated with London & Partners to help in the goal of positioning London as a leading global destination for top-tier esports and gaming events in the coming years. Furthermore, BLAST has joined forces with Live Nation, a major player in the live entertainment sector worldwide. Presently, the UK accounts for 8% of the global esports market, projected to hit $1.6 billion by the year's end.
