Here is the latest news of esports in Mongolia: Last week, the dates for two significant competitions, Nomadic Masters Spring 2020 (CS2) and Mid Season Championship Wild Card (ML: BB), were unveiled.
The CS2 matches for the Esports World Cup 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will run from July 17 to 21. The 15 teams worldwide will compete for the one million prize pool. The MongolZ triumphed over TYLOO 2:0 and Rare Atom 2:1 in the Asian region's closed qualifier, securing their slot in the main event.
MESA (Mongolian Esports Association) announces the Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 tournament in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from May 28 to June 2, 2024.
The Nomadic Masters Spring 2024 will feature a stellar lineup of the world's best CS2 teams, including OG, The MongolZ, and Lynn Vision, with a substantial $100,000 prize pool, the stakes are higher than ever in Mongolian esports scene.
The matches of this tournament, which will be held between European and Asian teams in the form of LAN from May 28 to June 2, 2024, will be held among 8 teams, and 3 teams from Europe and 3 teams from Asia will participate in the tournament by invitation. The remaining two slots will be earned by the winners of the MPS (MESA Pro Series) Spring 24 and the MPS Finals in May.
Tournament stages:
May 28-30. Play-in matches will be held at LAN Studio
June 1-2. Play Off matches will be held at Steppe Arena in Ulaanbaatar.
The MongolZ will represent the Asia-Pacific region in the ESL Pro League 19 in Malta, from April 23 to May 12.
Additionally, Atox esports secured the second position in the CS2 Asian Super League S2, which was held from April 18 to 21.

The Mongolian Dota2 teams, Kobolds, IHC esports, Team Tough, and Parazma competed in the semifinals of the 2nd series to be selected for the TEAM MONGOLIA at World Esports Championship by IESF.

The teams such as IHC esports, The MongolZ, Impostors, Implicity, Aquile, Blaze, So close and Final Epilogue have qualified for the semifinals of MESA Legends Series #4 for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The championship matches are set to determine the best team to represent Mongolia at the World Esports Championship by IESF.
The annual Mid Season Cup (MSC), now expanded at the Esports World Cup (EWC), will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from June 28 to July 14. Mongolia has secured participation in the MSC Wild Card through national qualifier conducted by ESN - eSports Network. Out of 8 participating teams in the MSC Wild Card, only one will advance to the MSC x EWC tournament. ESN - eSports Network provides an exciting opportunity for Mongolian teams to partake in the EWC, reminiscent of Team Lilgun's success in 2023.
