BLAST in Singapore

Singapore is set to host two prominent esports events, thanks to BLAST’s latest announcement. These top-tier Counter-Strike and Dota 2 tournaments will occur in Singapore in 2024 and 2025, solidifying the city's growing reputation as a leading hub for esports and gaming in Southeast Asia.


Blast in Singapore, From October 30th to November 3rd, 2024, eight of the world's elite Counter-Strike teams will converge in Singapore to compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool and the prestigious BLAST World Final 2024 trophy.

The teams that have secured a spot in the World Final are NAVI, Team Spirit, Team Vitality, FaZe Clan, and G2 Esports. The previous champions, namely Vitality, G2, and Natus Vincere, will be joined by Spirit and FaZe in the competition. Three more spots are yet to be filled: one for the winner of the BLAST Fall Final and two from the BLAST World Ranking. Teams such as MOUZ, Astralis, Liquid, and Virtus.pro are contending for these remaining invitations.


These high-profile events, supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), will attract the best esports teams and players from across the globe to Singapore.

In partnership with AEG Presents Asia, a leading global live entertainment company, BLAST aims to deliver top-notch esports experiences by collaborating with premier destinations and leading live entertainment partners.

The Asia Pacific region accounts for more than half (57%) of global esports views, 47% higher than any other region, with the global market valued at $1.6 billion. By bringing these top-tier Counter-Strike and Dota 2 tournaments to Singapore, BLAST seeks to attract global esports talent, support local growth, and enhance Singapore’s status as a world-class destination for esports entertainment.

The 2024 World Final is scheduled from October 30th to November 3rd and will mark BLAST’s first event in Singapore. This will be followed by the BLAST Dota Slam in 2025.
